Re: The “Puzzle” Schematic For Sharing Information

Greeting Ms. Schneider, Shalom!
Go forward with USICH, for which I/we are thankful for the relationship, this is a short note, to explain how I/we intend to comply with your wishes, based on your inviting statements to us.

“The more we all work together towards a common goal and process, the better the outcomes.”

“Moving forward, I will look to see how your coalition is building and would be interested to hear more about how your vision and work can connect with other local stakeholders as we all focus on the end goal of ending homelessness in Los Angeles and indeed the nation.”

As you can understand, there being a great volume of information, too much to be properly shared and absorbed in one setting, etc., which will prove to be of great use to the USICH Strategic Plan, and even offering our supportive, affirmation of the its correct direction.

We note USICH, “I believe much of your concerns and comments are reflected in these documents”, that is, “Resource Roundup For Addressing Encampments”; and “I understand from our communications that these are high priorities for you as well, and we appreciate that alignment“,

The “Puzzle” Schematic
As we present our information, our documents will come in the form a child’s puzzle in that, initially, what might seem to be huge, basic, or fundamental, disjointed pieces, will eventually be connected into a schematic that makes perfect, logical sense, especially according to the intents of USICH.

Then in succeeding documents, this “child’s puzzle” of large pieces will become smaller sizes, and then eventually into a “jigsaw” of explained, understood details.

As this information is submitted to you, perhaps, we can then have discussion on the specific pieces, and the “tools” and “resources” by which we are our empowered to carry out what we promise to USICH of accomplishing.

Again, USISH says to us, as to everyone else,

“…we also will engage with community leaders on how to address these issues with constructive solutions related to housing and services, crisis response and on prevention strategies. We will also continue to release additional tools and resources…”

There are indeed some tools and resources that you can provide us with to accomplish our “heavy lift” tasks as we address our strategies to USICH, of which you will understand the grass root, street perspective.

When it comes to hearing from “community leaders”, and those of homelessness experience, perhaps, to our knowledge, thus far, I’m America’s most qualified to lead on these matters.

Such is particularly poignant, in light of my 37 years, public and private documented, experience record, combined with the 8 years of an unprecedented, voluntary, open-eyed, sidewalk encampment experience of Justiceville, and the 13 years of the Dome Village, all of which and far more, were conceived by me.

However, this is a topic piece of the policy puzzle, as is others, that we can discuss later, including the 35 years record of USICH (1987-2022”

Thanks kindly and blessings of The Most High upon us in this matter,

Ted Hayes
