Holding her MA in Urban and Regional Planning, AICP designation and CERT certification, she is a well-rounded “jack of all trades” and has been nicknamed by many in the development and planning world as the Swiss Army Knife multi situational tool everyone needs.
Highly regarded in governmental/property development/construction matters/other issues facing government jurisdictions with some of those calling her “The Professor”. Her experience having grown up in construction/real estate/politics/utilities/facilities management since a young age of 5 years old have given her a unique perspective.
Not many can begin to understand all aspects of public administration and management involved in her work. She has worked for and on the outside of government at all levels including local, township, County, State, and Federal jurisdictional boundaries.
Her knowledge of the law, Subdivision Map Act, CEQA, and NEPA in states throughout the Country, development costs, property analysis, environmental issues, and more make her an excellent addition to our team.
She has worked all throughout the Nation over the course of her long running career and highly in-demand services. She understands the big picture while paying close attention to details within the overall construct of solutions to a problem.
Her ability to comprehensively understand and bring forth positive alternatives have been infinitely proven to work. She continues to work constantly toward positive “outside the box” solutions and putting together teams of amazingly skilled people in all facets of development in order to bring forth resolution to any problem. Shay is continually sought out by many Universities to teach Graduate land use classes and does so happily.
